Joaqui loves watching the birds. He watches them when they feed, drink and bathe.

Cones, I read, are used to prevent a dog from
licking a wound, aggravating a hot spot, tearing out surgical
stitches or removing a bandage.
Joaqui wears one because he scratches his ears once in a while. I take it out when he eats and drinks of course when he takes he baths). It's also off when I take him for a walk or whenever I have the time to monitor his actions.
He doesn't mind wearing it. I see to it that there is no issue on comfort, mobility and visibility on his part.
