Stopping To Smell The Roses

Three little roses, white in color ...

A curious doggie checking what's on the floor ...

Then came another, one with a cone. sniffing, sniffing ...

"Arghhh ... not something for the eating" ....

These were what their noses were tracking,
freshly-baked cookies (by me), ready for the attacking.

On Cones ... and Tweets

Joaqui loves watching the birds. He watches them when they feed, drink and bathe.

That's his tail at the right-most bottom corner of the photo.

Cones, I read, are used to prevent a dog from licking a wound, aggravating a hot spot, tearing out surgical stitches or removing a bandage.

Joaqui wears one because he scratches his ears once in a while. I take it out when he eats and drinks of course when he takes he baths). It's also off when I take him for a walk or whenever I have the time to monitor his actions.

He doesn't mind wearing it. I see to it that there is no issue on comfort, mobility and visibility on his part.

Cones tweet!
